Residents of Milton can now savour the culinary delights of a new bakery/grillhouse in the heart of town. Lisboa Bakery & Grillhouse is a one-stop shop for fresh Portuguese breads and pastries, home-cooked meals, salads, sandwiches and more.

We're more than just another place in Milton where you can get tasty food. We're the ideal stop for families looking for a quick and easy way to bring home a delicious, home-cooked meal. All at a fraction of the cost of flying to Portugal for the true-to-home experience.

The bakery and grillhouse concept is the first of its kind in Milton. We're excited about the opening of Lisboa Bakery & Grillhouse, and hope to become known as a friendly shop for anyone looking for a delicious meal. You can eat in, take it to go, or have it catered right to you at home or the office.

Made-fresh-daily menu items include:

· Churrasco - Portuguese-style roasted, BBQ and charcoal-grilled chicken, spiced with hot or mild red chilli sauce

· A selection of ready-made hot dishes, including filet of sole, roast beef and roasted pig (leitao)

· A wide variety of breads and pastries, including world-famous custard tarts (pasteis de nata) and corn bread (pão de milho)

· Salads, side dishes and appetizers

· "Just what you like on it" sandwiches, including veal and Portuguese pork cutlet (bifana)

· Special occasion cakes—wedding, birthday, anniversary, baptism, etc.

· Coffee, including cappuccino and espresso, tea and hot chocolate

The owner, Carlos Pereira's, entrepreneurial spirit is inspired by his parents' enthusiasm for the bakery business. Notes Carlos, "My father’s passion for baking can still be seen in the quality of the breads--papossecos, saloios, carcassas, pães de milho—we bake and serve daily at Lisboa Bakery. We're committed to providing our customers, seven days a week, with the finest Portuguese food available this side of the Atlantic."
